Greenock Shore Excursions

This is just a rough guide, based on previous clients' preferences. Whilst our shore excursions are popular and informative, should you have a specific city or town you would rather visit, we will always do our very best to accommodate your requests.

Your driver/guide shall be at the Greenock quayside with your details clearly displayed, awaiting your disembarkation. We travel west, crossing the famous River Clyde at Erskine, and onwards to
Loch Lomond.

Passing the whisky bonds of famous brands J & B and Ballantyne's, we are greeted by the mountain of Ben Lomond, this signals our first stop! Enjoy a leisurely stroll round Loch Lomond's  conservation village, Luss, This picturesque hamlet is sure to please, before we follow the signpost for  Mull of Kintyre, and heading to Loch Fyne, famous for their fresh Oysters!

The Loch Fyne Oyster Bar is a welcoming sight where teas and light refreshments are in abundance. We then head to the former Royal Burgh of Inveraray, ancestral home to the Duke of Argyll. A visit to the Georgian Inveraray Jail, now a museum as well as Inveraray Castle is most popular. Onwards...To Loch Awe we travel, the third largest fresh water loch in Scotland.

Then, Glencoe, known as the "Great Glen". Acting on the orders of king William 111, this was where the massacre of Clan MacDonald took place in 1692 by two companies of red-coated government soldiers and men of Clan Campbell. We are now on our return journey to your cruise ship and approach Loch Lomond from a different route via the village of Tyndrum where you can stop off for the finest fish and chips in the Highlands at The Real Food Cafe.

Full Day (08.30 hrs. - 18.00 hrs.). Our vehicles can carry up to 6 passengers and our shore excursion tours are competitively priced from 255.00 GBP

Alice and I had an outstanding tour despite the rain.  Douglas is an excellent guide and gentleman.  We both had a wonderful trip.  Douglas is very knowledgeable and also just a nice person.  We enjoyed his company very much.  We learned a lot about Scotland during the tour and both of us had a real great time.  Thanks for arranging it!!!!

You exceeded our expectations.  We plan to go onto Cruise critic and write a report about the fantastic service you provided

The trip was Brilliant!!
